Apple is making updates to the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, although it seems that these updates will only be minor upgrades after a major redesign in 2021.

Design

M2 Pro and M2 Max Chips
We don’t anticipate any external changes, but there will be internal ones given that Apple is considering adopting M2 Pro and M2 Max CPUs in the upgraded MacBook Pro models. The M2 Max chip will include up to a 12-core CPU, an increase from the M1 Max’s 10-core CPU. adds a GPU with up to 38 cores, up from the GPU’s present capacity of 32 cores. 3nm vs. 5nm
Production of upgraded 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models will start in the fourth quarter of 2022, according to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The improved 3-nanometer CPUs that are currently being developed might not be present in the upgraded variants. The new machines may instead use 5-nanometer chips produced using the current TSMC process, an Apple supplier, according to Kuo.

Possible Features
Apple is developing OLED panels for upcoming gadgets, such as new MacBook Pro models. However, more recent claims indicate that OLED technology won’t be ready until 2024, making the 2023 upgrade appear doubtful. According to certain rumors, Apple would start selling OLED panels in 2022.
The more expensive MacBook Pro models would be great candidates for Face ID. which, according to rumors, Apple is creating for the Mac. There haven’t been any particular rumors suggesting that the new MacBook Pro will come with Face ID, though.
Launch Date
