Vivo used to release smartphones at a premium pricing, but things have changed, and we’re seeing Vivo become more aggressive at the same time, removing key features.
The Vivo T1 5G might have been the greatest smartphone under Rs 20,000, but that didn’t happen because Vivo removed a lot of features, which is why the Vivo T1 5G price in India starts at Rs 15,990 and not Rs 20,000.

Vivo T1 5G review: What’s so fantastic about it?
Although the Vivo T1 has a plastic body. The back surface is rather nice and also remains smudge-free for a long time. The Vivo T1 has a 5000 mAh battery, which can easily last a day for the majority of people. However, the 18 W billing is a bit of a letdown when compared to some of the other phones in the segment, which offers 33 W fast billing and is also significantly better. It takes more than an hour for the phone to fully charge.

While it’s fantastic to see Vivo include Android 12 on the device, FunTouch OS 12 can be a bit clumsy at times. For example, I noticed that Vivo’s built-in web browser continued to send out alert signals for random newspaper articles. It took me a few tries to figure out how to change these from the drop-down food menu. Again, some of the pre-installed programs are unnecessary, and there needs to be an option to get rid of ‘Warm Applications, Hot Gamings.’
The video camera’s efficiency had color inconsistencies, particularly with pinks and reds. The lighter pink blossoms in the photographs are simply too washed out, and also the results, despite the more bright red blossoms, are simply too crisp. I noticed the same color issues when taking shots in the evening. The Buddha statues, in particular, appear to be very yellow, which is not the case. Despite the lighting, the macro setting remains completely useless. Regardless of the subject, it just cannot handle colors or information.
Vivo T1: Making a decision
The Vivo T1 has a number of advantages. The display screen and efficiency are advantages, the video camera is acceptable, and the battery capacity is adequate. The device can handle a few resource-intensive video games, but if you press it hard enough, you can see the phone battle. However, given that this is in the Rs 20,000 range, expecting a flawless performance would be unreasonable.
