According to the National Payment Corporation of India’s standards, the daily limit for UPI transactions is now Rs 1 lakh. Some smaller banks have also limited this ceiling to a maximum of 25,000. Let’s examine how many transactions you could make each day with each app.
What is the maximum Amazon Pay limit?
Amazon Pay has fixed the maximum payment amount through UPI at Rs 1,000,000. In the first 24 hours after signing up for Amazon Pay UPI, the user can only make transactions up to Rs 5000. Based on the bank, the number of transactions has also been fixed at 20 per day.
The limit has also been fixed by Paytm
Customers of Paytm UPI are subject to a cap of up to Rs 1 lakh. Along with this, Paytm also shifted the hourly cap. According to Paytm, you can now only complete 20,000 transactions each hour. In addition, there is a daily transaction limit of 20 and an hourly transaction limit of 5.
What is the maximum amount for PhonePe
PhonePe has introduced a daily UPI transaction cap of Rs 1,000,000. A customer may also only complete 10 or 20 transactions over PhonePe UPI every day, depending on the bank’s restrictions.
There can only be 10 transactions per day with Google Pay
Google Pay, also known as GPay, has placed a limit of 10 transactions overall for all UPI apps and bank accounts. Users are only allowed to finish 10 transactions each day. You may use this to make transactions totaling up to one lakh rupees each day.
There is no hourly limit on these apps
Please be aware that there is presently no hourly cap for Google Pay and Phone Pay. However, if you get a money request through the app for more than Rs 2000, the program will stop functioning.
