The Galaxy A series of smartphones from Samsung are fantastic. This is what we know about the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G.

The A-series smartphones, especially at the higher end of the spectrum, typically take some of the best features of the Galaxy S range and package them in a more cheap packaging, and the same is true for the newer products.

Samsung has announced the Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A73 5G, and Galaxy A33 5G, which is quite similar to the Galaxy A53 5G, to replace the Galaxy A52s 5G, Galaxy A52 5G, and Galaxy A72.

Cost, and availability

On March 17, 2022, Samsung held a Galaxy A event, revealing a number of devices, including the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G. While the Galaxy A73 5G was not announced on stage. It was noted at the bottom of a press release and on Samsung’s website.

Although no price has been announced. Samsung has stated that the Galaxy A73 5G “. Will be available in certain markets on April 22.” The select markets are still unknown. However, we will update this feature as soon as we discover more.

Design

The Samsung Galaxy A73 resembles the Galaxy A53 5G in appearance. It has a flat display with a center punch hole camera, very thin bezels surrounding the screen, and a quad-camera on the back with three large lenses and a smaller lens.

The camera housing is a single island, rather than looping into the frame like the S22 models, and it has a plastic frame and a “classic” back. The housing does, however, fit in with the phone’s back, giving it a sleek appearance.

The Galaxy A73 5G is 163.7 x 76.1 x 7.6mm in size, weighs 181g, and is water and dust resistant to IP67 standards. It’s available in three colors: black, white, and sage.

Display

A 6.7-inch display is included with the Samsung Galaxy A73. It’s a Super AMOLED+ screen. And Samsung refers to it as an Infinity O display because of the top-mounted punch hole camera.

It boasts a Full HD+ pixel resolution and is a flat display, as previously stated.

The A73 has a 120Hz refresh rate, which is a minor decrease from the Galaxy S22 series’ adaptive 120Hz refresh rate.

Hardware and specs

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset is said to power the Samsung Galaxy A73, albeit this isn’t confirmed yet. Samsung simply says it’s an Octa-Core processor but doesn’t say which one it is.

However, we do know that the A73 5G comes in two versions: 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, both of which support microSD storage extension up to 1TB.

The Samsung Galaxy A73 has a battery capacity of 5000mAh and supports 25W rapid charging. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not available.

Cameras

On the back of the Samsung, Galaxy A73 is a quad-camera consisting of the main sensor. A macro sensor, a depth sensor, and an ultra-wide-angle sensor.

The main sensor has a resolution of 108 megapixels and an aperture of f/1.8 with optical image stabilization. The ultra-wide sensor has a resolution of 12 megapixels, while the depth and macro sensors each have a resolution of 5 megapixels.

A 32-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.2 is located on the front.

Samsung has scheduled the Galaxy A event for March 17. During which the A73 is expected to be unveiled. 91Mobiles has a render of the Samsung Galaxy A73 that appears to be an official press render. The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G was recently certified by the FCC, and it supports 25W fast charging. The Galaxy A73 will not be released. Alongside the Galaxy A53 this year.
