The newest mid-range smartphones from the South Korean company, Samsung, were introduced as the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G. Both of the new versions sport triple camera setups at the back and Super AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates. Samsung promises four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security updates for the new devices.
The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G both operate on Android 13 with a new One UI 5.1 on top. They have an IP67-certified design and a 5,000mAh battery to power them. The unknown octa-core chipsets run the two 5G-capable smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G Specifications
The new Samsung Galaxy A54 5G features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster support and runs Android 13 with One UI 5.1 on top. It has an undisclosed octa-core SoC and up to 8GB of memory.
The Galaxy A54 5G features a triple rear camera system with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, an f/2.2 lens, and a 5-megapixel macro shooter, all of which support optical image stabilisation (OIS). Samsung included a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.2 lens at the front of the device for taking selfies and video calls.

The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G has 256GB of internal capacity that can be increased by up to 1TB using a microSD card. So, the device comes 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/A-GPS, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, and a USB Type-C port as connectivity options. The onboard sensors include a proximity sensor, gyro, magnetometer, fingerprint, light, and accelerometer. Additionally, the phone has a water- and dust-resistant IP67-certified build.
The 5,000mAh battery in the Galaxy A54 5G supports 25W fast charging. However, the supported charger is not included in the sale package. Additionally, it weighs 202 grams and has dimensions of 158.2×76.7×8.2mm.
Samsung Galaxy A34 5G Specifications
The software specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G are identical to those of the Galaxy A54 5G. A 6.6-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate and vision booster feature is a highlight of the smartphone. An unnamed octa-core processor and up to 8GB of RAM power it.
The triple rear camera setup also includes a 5-megapixel sensor with a macro lens and an f/2.4 lens, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide angle lens and an f/2.2 lens, and a 48mp primary sensor with OIS and an f/1.8 lens. The front camera on it is a 13-megapixel one with an f/2.2 lens.
Up to 256GB of internal capacity on the Galaxy A34 5G is expandable with a microSD card up to 1TB in size. So, the sensors and connectivity choices are the same as those of the Galaxy A54 5G. So, it has an IP67-certified build and a fingerprint sensor for authentication.
A 5,000mAh battery is included in the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G, and it enables 25W fast charging. It weighs 199 grams and is 161.3×78.1×8.2mm in size.
Samsung Galaxy A54 5G And Samsung Galaxy A34 5G Price
The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G costs roughly Rs. 40,000 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model and EUR 499 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage edition (roughly Rs. 44,000). Additionally, it is available with 6GB of Memory and 128GB of storage. But at this time, there is no information on the cost of this basic model.
The starting price for the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G is EUR 349 (roughly Rs. 30,800), while the edition with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs EUR 399. (Roughly Rs. 35,000). The pricing of the model with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage has not yet been disclosed by Samsung.
There are four color choices available for the Galaxy A54 5G: Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White. So, along with Awesome Silver as an extra finish. The Galaxy A34 5G is also offered in Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, and Awesome Violet colors. Later this month, both models will go on sale in different markets.
