From the recent updates, it has been found that Google is temporarily disabling the request indexing feature. This is the request indexing feature of the URL inspection tool.

Google is disabling this request index feature in the URL inspection tool within the Search Console. However, this is temporary but still, the feature will be disabled for weeks or more than that. There is no such information on this but it is very much clear that the feature will surely be disabled by Google. Google is disabling out this feature in order to make infrastructure changes, the company says in an announcement:

Probing further, the request indexing feature is part of a URL inspection tool in Search Console. It can easily be used to request a crawl of individual URLs. This is one of the most commonly used when site owners publish a new page or make changes to an existing page. It also helps in speeding up the process of Google by adding new content to the search index. But there are no guarantees at all. Even when the feature is working this does not promise you immediate indexing. In some cases, Google does not choose at all to index any of the content.

In a search console, the company stated that requesting down the crawl does not guarantee that inclusion with happening or not. This is the system that prioritizes fast inclusion with useful content. Therefore, this is very much true that Google’s infrastructure changes lead to some improvements. Now, it’s like that the content won’t get indexed in meantime.

Hence, this is all as soon as we get more updates, we are going to inform you out of this. Till the time get in touch with us.
