It’s the last day of 2022. For its users worldwide, Instagram has started rolling out a new tool that will allow them to make their own 2022 recap reel. And post it with their followers on the network. This is in time for the celebrations of the new year.
Users can pick anything from three to fourteen images and videos, and the software will put them all together into a seamless reel. By selecting a narrated template from musicians and influencers like Bad Bunny, DJ Khaled, Badshah, or Stranger Things actress Priah Ferguson, users may further customize their 2022 Recap Reel.
According to CNET, Instagram will begin making these templates available to all of its users worldwide starting today and continuing through a few days into 2023. Users will be able to create and share their recap reels on the platform throughout this period.
To share their favorite nine photographs with their followers in a photo grid format. Instagram users had to design their year-end feature before 2021. The Meta-owned photo and video sharing site, on the other hand, introduced a “Year in Review” option in 2021 that let users choose up to 10 tales to share with their followers. Instagram is not limiting users to a specific format this year. It is now letting consumers choose photos and videos for their 2022 recap reel, a model that has worked well for the firm thus far.

Step 1: tap the button that says “Create your 2022 recap reel” on the app’s home screen.
Step 2: Choose the template of your choice at this point.
Step 3: Select “Use template” from the menu.
Step 4: At this point, you have the option of substituting your images and movies for the video clips in the template. Choose the pictures and videos you wish to replace.
Step 5: After selecting your choices, hit the arrow button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step 6: At this point, the final reel will be previewed. You can now adjust the reel as necessary to suit your preferences. In the bottom right corner of the screen, there is a “Next” button that you should hit when you are finished editing.
Step 7: You can now view your 2022 recap reel in full screen and make additional edits. After finishing your modifications, click the Next button.
Step 8: Next, enter a caption and location. Next, decide who you wish to share with.
