The Ear (2) earbuds from Nothing maintain the company’s distinct transparent design while delivering an unparalleled audio experience. They feature Hi-Res Audio certification and LHDC 5.0 technology. Nothing states that these earbuds provide up to 36 hours of playback time and are also fast-charging enabled.
Using the Nothing X app, users can personalize their audio experience on the Ear (2) earbuds. The app offers a hearing test that enables users to create their own Personal Sound Profile. The earbuds will automatically change the equaliser settings based on the test results to deliver the best sound quality suited to each user’s unique hearing abilities. This unique feature empowers users to create a customized audio profile according to their hearing ID, resulting in a tailor-made audio experience.
The Ear (2) boasts the most advanced noise-cancellation technology to date, as per the company’s claims. These earbuds provide customizable Personalised Active Noise Cancellation that conforms to the shape of the user’s ear canal. Besides, the Ear (2) includes an Adaptive Mode that can automatically adjust the noise reduction level depending on the surrounding environment.
The Ear (2) earbuds have an 11.6 mm dynamic driver, a custom diaphragm, and a redesigned mix of polyurethane and graphene materials that Nothing has previously used. These enhancements are said to deliver improved bass and richer high frequencies. The Ear (2) is also IP54 certified for dust and water resistance, providing an added layer of protection against environmental elements.
