Last month I successfully made it through the MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule 4) exam. It was an amazing great experience and I would like to share it with you.
Let me begin with an introduction of mine.
I’m working with a large software house as a Senior Software Developer. I have extensive experience in software development with a college degree and years of hands-on experience in Object-Oriented programming languages with a Java being a specialization. I have an advanced level of experience with JSON and JDBC.
Let me come back to my story. Lately, I came across a project involving the MuleSoft platform. It was my first exposure to MuleSoft. After some sessions, I concluded that the MuleSoft platform is something I need to take seriously as I found it interesting and innovative. I also found that my present experience can be helpful in MuleSoft learning. I found it more of an easier technology with the effective usage and integration of existing technologies and platforms. As a Java Certified Professional, I am already experienced with the certification exam, that’s why I was confident about managing it without any problem. Exam Format and Cost
The MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 exam is a multiple-choice proctored exam. There are 60 questions and the candidate is required to complete it in 2 Hours (120 minutes). To pass the exam the candidate is required to score 70%. The exam is presently available in the English language only. A candidate can attempt the exam for 5 times at a maximum with a minimum of 24-hours difference between each of the attempts.
The exam costs $250 and includes one free retake. Additional retakes are available for 50% off of the original price. The certification is valid for the next two years from the date of passing the exam.
