Google, Reliance Jio To Develop New Android-Based Operating System

Chairman of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani announced that the new operating system is going to develop the new affordable smartphone. Mukesh Ambani has Also declared his plans to launch an entrance level 4G or 5G cell phone for Indian clients, for which it needs Google to design an Android-based operating system. He also declared Reliance Industries’ purpose to become net-carbon-free by 2035. A Jio-Google association, Jio Glass, a new Android operating system, and the objective to be without carbon by 2035 were a portion of the principle declarations made by Reliance Jio chairman, Mukesh Ambani, during the recent Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Ambani reported plans to build Reliance Jio’s entry-level 4G or even a small amount of its current spend of 5G cell phones. Google will help Jio on the product side by building an Android-based cell phone operating system aimed at making India a ‘2G mukt‘. However, the market does not appear to be upbeat due to a nearly 4% drop in the share cost of Reliance Industries after the AGM. Jio Platforms and Google have gone into a commercial agreement to mutually create an affordable entry-level smartphone with enhancements to the Android operating system and Play Store. The organization claims that it will reconsider the entire process starting from the initial stage. The new activity targets the major portion of cell phone owners in India.
