The social networking business Twitter is reportedly losing hundreds of staff. This comes immediately after the new owner, Elon Musk, gave his team the choice to sign up for “long hours at high intensity” or quit. During the commotion, the hashtag #RipTwitter is now popular on the website.

This information is being released after concerned social media users posted about the platform’s future. Currently, the company is going through a lot of turmoil. The hashtag #LoveWhereYouWorked and the salute emoji were used by employees. Also referred to as “Tweeps,” to tweet about their resignations.

The BBC reports that access to all office buildings as well as badge access will be stopped until Monday, November 21 in a statement addressed to Twitter staff.
