From the recent updates, it has been found that Yahoo recently announced that they will shut down all the Yahoo groups from Monday, which is from 21st October 2020. Along with this Yahoo also said that all the content will be removed from December 14th, 2020 only. This means that after 21st October 2020 users will not be able to upload any kind of new content to the groups of Yahoo. However, it will still remain on the network but no activities can be performed by the users.

Do you want to know what type of content is going to be removed from December 14th, 2020? If yes, then check the mentioned below things. All the things mentioned are going to be removed by the Yahoo official from December 14th, 2020. Polls, Links, Files, Calander, Photos, Folder, Conversation, Attachments, Database, and many more are going to be removed.

Moving forward, it has also been announced that the Yahoo groups will now be very much difficult to be joined by the people. This is because all the groups are now going to be private and restricted. All the groups will be available there in the search but cannot be requested by the people to join them out, so if you are interested in joining any of the groups out there go and join it out today only.

Furthermore, if you are interested to save the content from getting removed, simply sign in to your Yahoo account and download the files before the removing date. But firstly, you will have to request for the data and after that Yahoo will send an e-mail to you if the data gets ready for you to download. So, do the same if you want to have all the group data stored and preserved with you. Strangely this imminent change to all the Yahoo groups was announced very much quiet and the only mention about this is there in the support document.

Lastly, we would like to say that Yahoo users are going to still remain there in minimal capacity after December 14th. All the users will be able to communicate with group fellows through emails and admins are going to have limited access to all the tools. Therefore, Jason Scott of The Internet Archive has vowed that Yahoo group content should be preserved as much as possible. Just to make sure that it might not be lost forever.

Hence, get connected to have regular updates on such technology things.
